Although the system itself leads you automatically through all the sequences you have tools to help you in deciding to (pre)investigate slem on a low level, or sometimes game and stay on the 3-level, and more often if
3 will be the right one.

In the system itself already through fine-tuning f.e. in a 4333/4432 if your range has good or bad points/quality , 2 of 3 toph. in your 5/6 or 7 card. Solid with side value and which side-value etc. Uncovered Jacks does not count even not covered with T9x.
From 3covered Jack's deduct one for your HCP counting. Stiff Queen or Jack does not count.
All to give partner fix information that your points are real points. If they will work together is an other question.
But knowing on a very low level a singleton or void does help you enormously.

As tools in a relay-sequence I can offer you:		go to the chapter
-	STopper Asking Bid with the 3 or 3 bid	Stab
-	Control Points asking bid CP for SPIRAL SCAN with the 3 bid (or if you wish Slampoints: SP)
-	Control Asking Bid (CAB) (for Ace or King) with the 3 bid
-	Slam Asking Bid (Slab) and furtheron Suits/Trump asking and finally Jack asking
-	Special End Signal (4 bid after End signal and the 4 obliged bid)
-	Exclusion Slab on 4 or 5th level
-	specials in certain sequences, such as scan Aces firstly, then Kings starting with the 3 bid Control Asking Bids in same way as the STAB method, that means the 3 or 3 bid
