The balanced
distribution type 4333/4432 is known with the bid of 2
in most of the sequences.
Relayer has several ways to progress the bidding. In case of game-level he can
define that he or partner will play
or
and at the same time he can ask for a 3 or 4 card Major. So in case no 3 or
4cM , 3NT in the proper hand.
Or he can ask for stopper(s).

regarding stopperbids: used in balanced suits/ singleton too; for total stopper-bids see survey.
Answers after
the [2

relay:
the bids 2
-3
are transfers to the lowest
4-card; again a relay, then other 4 card on real level or preferable through
the transfer/reverted scheme.It depends on the level if a further relay is needed
or not if you want to know the exact distribution. Because of the limited numbers
of bidding steps there are two 4
level bids unfortunately (if asked for full distribution) and those have always
a 3-card in spades)

| In case of a stopper or control asking and then proceeding with the further distribution stick to the normal 4333/4432 scheme, because of be able to stop in a game and of course the correct suit. | ||||||||
| I
admit you have to think it over carefully before you will give an answer
on the second Relay, but by this way you keep the whole transfer design
of the system intact. Up to you which one you like. See 2 example boards (pdf) |
||||||||
|
Regarding the 4333
shape and the extra given possibility in case of an 13-15: |
||||||||
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In
the double transfer balanced scheme (= the weaker pointranges 8-12
or 6-11) the 4333 is separated from the 4432
and besides a diviation in quality to be able to end in 2![]()
4333 11-12 poor , medium or good
4432 11-12 poor or good
Therefore is
above relay choise not valid always.
- After a second relay [= strong one after a negative] exact distribution with
same answers as if there were given a [2
]
- After a 2
non forcing bid by R, RR
can bid above 11/12 4333/4432 in the folllwing way:
2
for the poor or good 4333
2
for the poor 4432
After 2
R, if not passing, is still be able to progress with same bids as from
the
scheme {3
-3
},
3
Exact distribution asking is out of question because there was no strong relay,
but the {2
}
relay of the scheme can used now by bidding
{3
}
- with the standard 3
/3
answers
(the original
3
answer for 4M333 can not exist namely)
In case 4432
max. and good quality bid by 2
R can choose the kind of relay.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As mentioned
it depends on the previous sequence before the 2
bid. In the whole setting up of the system the first relays after [Pass] are
not designed that in a 13+ against 12+ situation
transfer-bids are included. But nevertheless you (could) have for above relays
a choise in case which hand will play
or
.
