This 8-12
carder in ALL positions as a part of
the singleton/void DELTA scheme: called DELTEX
To unburden your memory this Deltex scheme is the easiest one because it is an extension of the s/v Delta scheme.

The bids of the Singleton Scheme through whole the system,
you can better say openings: for those 8-12 carders the order is: void, singleton,
if more voids/singletons the system is:
with 2 singletons or 2 voids, the lowest one = a minimum, the highest one= a
maximum in the range.
with 3 singletons the lowest one is minimum, the highest one = a maximum in
the range. 10
«21» 0=
special treatment.

||||
| NOTE:
if you play the more sophisticated scheme regarding max/min in a 8-12,
13-16 range regarding the fact that you will be able to Pass a minimum
bid in the real suit (with the extra bid of 4 |
||||
Any way for all the shapes
with a 1-suiter and an 8- upto 12-carder you know under the 4
level the exact distribution and a minimum or maximum in the range up to 15points
from Pass opener and up to 10/11 points from RR (else with more points all one
level higher, as usual).
Up to you to use this (uniform) scheme or the two other ones of which one you have more information about AK + side values etc., but no information about s/v and exact distribution.
After a 4 Bid next bid (if not L) is starting the spiral scan, that means asking for the number of controls, Then next bid starts with scanning L first, then next bid asking for the Queen+scan. But after giving the number of controls and 2nd. step is start scanning without L/or Queen L because you are not interested in L or you can deduce later with knowing the placing of A/K in the other suit(s)
Because in
the stage after a 4 bid Ace/King and placement cq. A or K in 8+ suiter? is the
most important issue. Therefore Spiral Scan method to be preferred.
But CAB bid not 4
or higher, then use the normal Slab method.
