An Update!
Yes, it's an actual update! Can you believe it?
Alright, alright, I know it's taken rather long. Rather... Very long. There are various
reasons for this. And I'm not going to bore you with any of those. But it's always the
quotes that take a long time to compile and compress into something you can actually read
through. So when it takes a long time for me to update, just picture me compiling quotes
till I can no longer read my keys cause of all the blood pouring from my fingers, and I'm
sure you'll feel better. ;)
But, through my neverending agony, there are a few things I should bring into the
spotlight. Actually, I had collected a good number of them over the past months;
unfortunately I forgot what most of them are. So here's a random selection.
First off, Shinga asked me to plug a link for her. It's an online comic of which her
boyfriend is the writer. It is called
Our Little World. I should probably say that I read
it from start to finish and enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately I can't because I barely
managed to look at it so far, what with the bleeding fingers and all. But why not give it
a try?
Another fun thing I found (as did many other people, it seems) is the online comic
Elf Only Inn. I'm not sure if I put up a
link before, but it's here now at any rate. Ups and downs humourwise, but particularly the
early comics are quite fun, and sadly invoke a great sense of recognition for anyone who
has any experience chatting.
Lastly, I remember this thing here. Jeff Russel's
STARSHIP DIMENSIONS. There might be a few geeks among you who will enjoy comparing
starship sizes from various science fiction shows: how big does the Death Star look next
to the Enterprise? How big is Deep Space 9 compared to Babylon 5? I am mainly amused at the
simple fact that there is someone on this world who made a site such as this. And very
impressed with the incredible amount of detail he managed to get in there. Just take a
look.
And that's it. Maybe one day I'll work on my links page. You know, after putting up my
Gathering 2002 pictures. Have fun.
