You know, one moment you don't have anything to say for months, and suddenly you find yourself with so much to say you actually have to make choices. I guess I'll be talking about my fascinating findings when I looked at the site visitors log some other time, and stick to the things that are really important, as well as some thing which simply amused me.
Chat Quotes and The Gathering
I am well aware of the irony that the two most popular sections of this site, the Gallery and the Station 8 Chat Quotes are actually all the work of others. I only put it all online. However, as The Gathering approaches rapidly, I am afraid that particularly the Quotes Section will suffer. I am now going to have to devote my time to my trip to the U.S.A. and to The Gathering particularly. Once there, I will stay there for nearly three weeks. This will almost certainly have consequences for the quote section's tri-weekly update. I hope you will understand that there is a good chance that until I am back (juli 10th) updates will be small or nonexistant. Given the insane amount of time each update drains from my life it is also unlikely that I will be able to 'catch up' for those weeks. Sorry guys, I'm warning you in advance that the well of quotes might run dry for a little while. But we'll see what happens.
The Gathering
Speaking of The Gathering, I would like to take this oppertunity to try and convince the non-goers one last time to come. I know that one might feel that after the big build-up for last year's con this year's con might feel a bit like an after-thought. Even before last year's Gathering I have spoken to people who were sad they couldn't come to L.A. because after that "it was just going to die". But that is simply not true. The Gathering started as a means for fans of Gargoyles to meet each other and non of this has changed. A lot of people tell me when I tell them this that maybe they'll come to the Gathering in New York, next year. I ask you one last time, why wait? Why not come this year? It's fun, you can meet your online friends (and me, if you're that desperate). Why wait?
And clanners everywhere, don't forget to enroll for the Clan Olympics. I have no idea what we're going to have to go through, but we'll have fun, no?
Ninja-turtles.org
As everyone knows, since I have been whining about it forever, there have been some problems at ninja-turtles.org, where the Gallery is hosted. As a result I lost FTP access to the server and was unable to update the gallery, leaving me to have to create a temporary gallery. Recently some headway has been made and in theory I should have limited access to the server again. Limited, in this case, means that I should be able to upload files one at a time through a web form. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get this to work. So near, and yet so far... But odds of ever seeing another update are improving at least.
I do want to take this oppertunity to once again thank Lex of the Miniclan for providing me with this free webspace at all. Without it there would no longer have been a gallery. Thanks Lex!

And finally, I should put some of these on the links pages, but really, to think I will ever really find or make the time for this would be kidding myself and everyone else. So here they are, a small collection of amusing or otherwise interesting links which I felt like pointing out.

Pure and base slander, this is. This quiz will tell you what sort of dragon you are.
Unfortunately, this quiz is downright racist, ascribing different characteristics to
dragons based on skin colour. Black dragons, as always the most oppressed and
misunderstood race come out particularly evil. That is not to say that the other scale
colours get off lightly. Most differences lie in subtleties such as in which way and
under what circumstances one prefers to crush one's enemies.
I call upon all dragons to hold a protest march through Washington on june 23rd, at 4PM local time, to show the people once and for all that dragons do not just go around crushing their enemies. Of course, first we'll need to know what kind of dragon you are, so take the test... - The Animal In You Personality Test - Another test for you to take. I have included this one because it told me I was a snake exuding a mysterious sexual ooze, which frankly is one of the more peculiar things told to me this year.
- The Chatroom Web Comic - MAui the Maaaaaaaarvelous has seen fit to produce some comics based on the Station 8 chatroom! She said to continue this at least for the forseeable future. We'll just have to see, no?
- STAR WARS ASCIIMATION - I had this link before. Then I lost it, and Wingless found it again. Never saw the first Star Wars movie? Fret not, for here we have a bootleg copy available for your online viewing pleasure. Er, it's recreated using ASCII characters, though. That's not a problem, is it?
