Fibula en Muntgewicht

Vragen/beschrijving van Mat:

Een speld volgens mij is het een fibula aangezien ik deze gevonden heb op een akker waar ik ook 4 Romeinse munten vond. Materiaal volgens mij brons maten 25 x 20 x 10. Aan de achterzijde heeft een speld gezeten.

Een muntgewicht, links staat een C dan een koning en dan een R. Alle info is welkom. Groeten, Mat. Reaktie van Coinwate.

I can only speak about the muntgewichtje, and this with some reservations as this is a very poor picture or weight or both. It looks like a muntgewicht for the Gouden Reaal, G-R flanking the portrait of Philips II 1556-1598. This coin was made 1557-98 and weighed 5.32 grams. The submitter did not give the mass, so it could also be for the Halve Reaal and the initials would read H-R instead. The mass of that coin was 3.50 g, it is not one half as the gold content was lower than for the G R. The blokbeeldenaar would be the same for both weights. Groeten, Coinwate.
