One of the ways of paying for your internet connection is by installing a program that displays commercials
on your screen. By viewing these commercials you can earn money. In my opinion that's a better situation
than watching commercials on tv. After a while you don't even notice it anymore but you're still earning money.
Spedia
A good example of such a program is called spedia, it's internationally active. Most other programs are meanly targeted
on the American internet user or don't pay if there isn't a sponsor that does want to target the international
public. A second advantage of spedia is that it works with so called 'referals. If someone joins the program and
you are his 'sponsor', spedia pays a certain percentage (10%) of his earnings extra to you. Having a couple of referals
can make it a nice earning.

Earnings
Spedia pays international members 30 dollar cents per hour for watching these commercials. This 'watching' is
checked, by crediting only if you're actively surfing the internet. If you actively surf the internet for one hour
a day you could easily earn 10 dollars a month. With a couple of referals much more.
Installing and configuring spedia
After appling for a membership you have to download a small program, you'll get the instruction after your application.
The best practise is to put that program in a seperate folder. After starting the program for the first time, a login screen appears in which you'll have to type your username and password. I for myself would also deselect the options "enable Audio an Video Media Stream" and "Enable Rich Media Stream" to minimize the internet traffic. Further I would select "Automatic login each time I start Spediabar" so I would not have to fill in my username and passwort each time. On clicking on 'login' the program tries to make contact with the spedia server. (this could take a minut). When the program succeeds to make contact a commercial bar appears at the bottom of your screen. I placed that bar on the top of the screen, so it won't bother me much. You mostly look at the lower part of your screen instead of the top part.......This relocation can be done by rightclicking on the left part of the bar, a menu appears in which you can command the bar to locate itself at the top of your screen.
