THE BEVIS FROND Live at Terrastock III

London - August 27/ 28/ 29, 1999

The University of London was the place and August 27,28,29 the time: The third Terrastock festival (and the first one in Europe) was finally happening!
Bevis Frond started Saturday August 28 with the current line-up, that is Nick Saloman on guitar and vocals, Ade Shaw on bass and a great looking Andy Ward back on drums. Half way the gig Andy was replaced by Ric Gunther. Another guest appearance was Ade's son Aaron on lead guitar. Finally Bari Watts joined Nick on lead guitar and the return to a classic Bevis Frond line-up was completed. Bari ensured he wasn't overlooked blasting his guitar fireworks through the speakers and this line-up 'jammed' till closing time (11 o'clock that is, life in the UK seems to cease at this point of time)

An extra Bevis Frond treat was organized for Sunday August 29 where Nick and Ade jammed a mesmerizing epic with Rod Goodway on vocals. During this set also the Alchemists joined the team.

Anyway, enjoy the following pictures, and for those who missed Terrastock, or for those who were there and want to relive the memories, "Radio Never Say Die" (a pirate radio station in London, as well as an Internet bitcaster) has recorded a bunch of the Terrastock performances and made them available in the popular RealAudio format.
Check out the Radio Never Say Die website for more info.
