The Connections:
Originally The Music Connection was set-up to provide information about artists of the past
and present who are not to be forgotten (or who deserves more attention).
We all have old records (i.e. LP's) we treasure, most likely worn-out, and most likely not (yet)
available on CD. This is an attempt to preserve such music by telling about it, by making you curious,
by getting the stuff on CD!, etc.
I had more 'connections' in mind (Quintessence, Spirogyra, and more), but unfortunately this is all
I could make time for.
See the new site www.RockMuse.com for the links
My favorite (musical) links are:
I'll bet there are many more interesting Web Pages about music. These are just a few I found since I'm on the
web (and that is since November 1996).

To me, music is the spice of life, I don't think I can live without it. I'm always interested in good music
(now here's an interesting discussion topic) and on many occasions I'm scanning the music stores for new
music. The late sixties and seventies was the most fruitful period for rock (pop or folk) music in my opinion.
Rock music was born in the sixties and fully explored in the seventies with amazing results. In the late
seventies and eighties came the decline, even the pro's from the sixties/seventies weren't able to sustain
their heights (ok, there are few exceptions). In the nineties fortunately this decline has fully stopped
and new, young and inspired musicians dare to thread new paths in music. Yes, music is very much alive today.
These are some examples of fine 90s (and up) records I bought (and I recommend them!):
My personal Top 50:
This is a listing of the 50 best songs ever. The list is sorted in alphabetical order, not by preference, as it is difficult enough to pick the 50 best. Yesterday the list may have been slightly different, and tomorrow it will be again, pending on the mood I'm in. Don't expect a daily update though (who cares anyway).
