Here I intend to make recent additions to my sites known. The sites themselves each have a button "Recent" but although they lead to a window with my most recent additions they also lead you to recently edited galleries, where not much has changed. If something monumental happens I will indicate it on this page.
I am way in arrears in the upkeep of this page, you'd best use that Recent button mentioned above.

- April 2011. From a recent visit to the sout-west, I added hundreds of
pictures of
Ephesus, nearby
Selçuk and its’
St. John
Basilica,
Isa Bey Mosque and
Artemis Temple, as well as
the museum.
Then
Tire, a town with many brightly coloured houses on
steep hills.
Next from
Pamukkale I took another large set of pictures of
Hierapolis and its’
museum, as well as
the white cliffs and the village,
as well as nearby
Laodikeia. Next
I went on to
Fethiye, saw
Xanthos,
Letoon,
Tlos,
of which pictures
are on the site now. Next
Kaş and Dere or Myra, with its’ “Santa Claus”
(Sinterklaas in Dutch) church and the ancient theatre. So lots
of classical sites.
- Januari 2011. I am back from a visit to Adana (Turkey) and its environs. The first results are on my site, such as Misis, Yumurtalik, Tarsus, Silifke, with a sub-gallery for its Apollo temple, I did not visit new cities, but new pictures will appear from Adana, Osmaniye, Ceyhan, Yumurtalik, , Karaman and Konya. From Konya I already installed new galleries to: the Mevlana Museum, the Ince Minare Museum, the Independence War Museum.

A country I visited a lot before going Turkey
These pictures have, as slides, been waiting patiently for the time I might scan them and edit them, maybe even write a caption. I have started that endeavor in May 2010, it may take a year. Many of the pictures may be outdated to the modern viewer, but since their content once again is "timeless" (they don't restructure the Laocoon group any more for all I know) clicking this Italy link to at least some of my viewers will be useful still.
