See below for  photos of my new driving truck, loosely based on a GWR Loriot.Y well wagon.

With a weight of only 7 kilo's this is an easy to handle wagon, suitable for raised and ground level track.  Driving with model goods wagons and passenger coaches is done in England and Germany.

The Ground Level 5 Inch Main Line Association
has an increasing and very active membership, who have a focused objective in terms of railway prototype operation in 5" ground level operation.

This small driving truck  makes is possible to couple to another train; Double headed driving is a nice experience and is a lot of fun to do. The two locos are capable to pull a few wagon loads of passengers.

A design was made in Solid Works, based on a GWR well wagon. Although it has only two axles running on ball bearings, the wagon handles very well on raised or ground level track. Four brake shoes on all the wheels give a positive brake action when needed.

A GWR Brake van (a 20ton Toad) and an Open coal wagon are also under construction, but most time is now spend on the Wurttembergische T3, so progress is slow.
