How it started
|
First I raced in a partnership together with my father-in-law.
The partnership commenced in pigeons in 1986 with a mixture of pigeons totalling 10 cocks and 10 hens.
The partnership races the whole season from march trough to october.
Included in our small team we had a breeder called "The TEEN".
The "TEEN" produced a pigeon named "KANON" who was a very good short distance racer, winner of 6 first prizes including a 1st Provinciaal against 4895 birds. He was twice in the top 65 from the best short distance aces from the Netherlands.
Yet, there is still one son on the loft from this excelent cock.
The partnership of Hamont and Heuvel was comprised of Nol van Hamont and Frans van den Heuvel.
When Frans agreed to form the partnership they became members from the club PV. De Drie Beerzen.

Together with 16 other clubs we race in the equivalent of a federation named the CC MIDEBO which has about 350 members.
We are also members from "The Fondclub Zuiderkempen" with more than 3.000 members.
We have also 6 or 7 races where we can compete against the whole Netherlands who has about 32.000 members. But they have split up the Netherlands in three regions, namely Sectors 1, 2 and 3. (South, Middle and North)
This races are alone on the EXTREME LONG DISTANCE like St.Vincent, Dax, Barcelona, Pau, Marsielle, Perpignan.
The last 5 races are also over WHOLE EUROPE !!!!!
With the retirement of Nol Hamont from the partnership on doctor's orders due to poor health – Frans van den Heuvel will be going it alone in 2005, having retained the majority of the principal breeding pigeons.
Also reinforcing the team with new introductions !!!!!
That means a totally switch-over to Jan Theelen and Kuijpers Bros. pigeons.
Why ? Those pigeons are the best for the extreme long distance.
In their strains multiple NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL winners

At this moment their are many fanciers who race with (long distance) pigeons from Frans.
Among those fanciers who already race with those pigeons are:
Jan Buco - Republik Slovakia, Youngbirds from his original v.d.Heuvel pigeons scored very well in the Czech One Loft race.
Dennis Wall from Norwich (UK)He is prominent with pigeons from Frans van den Heuvel.
Partnership Vermanen (Martin& father) from the city Zuidwolde achieved on the Dutch Open a topprice position and a lot off cash money with a 50% Frans van den Heuvel pigeon.
Also many other fanciers in Europe made great achievements:
England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Poland................................WHO IS NEXT????
In the year 2004 on the Dutch Open the 2 entries from Frans van den Heuvel made very good achievements.
"HAZY VIEW" was even listed in the top 30 from the ACE-pigeons. After he missed on the final race.
Because "Hazy View" did mis on the last race, he ends on place 133rd International from 1600 others.
Also that is pigeonsport. !!!
In the meantime many fanciers mailed/ called me to tell me their results they achieved with my direct and crossed van den Heuvel pigeons.
Among them 1st prize winners and Ace-pigeons.
So I wish to thank every one who wrote me, mailed me, or did phone with me.
I want to thank those fanciers for their confidence in our pigeons.
