The LOFT in Middelbeers
|
The loft from Frans and Anita is a 18 foot loft made from Meranti and has a tiled roof and was supplied directly from the loft manufacturers DUMO.
The loft has 3 compartments.
Two for playing widowhood of on the nest.
And the other one is for the youngbirds or the widow-hens.
The color is dark because my wife likes that, but it also absorbs heat and that is good for the widowers, hens and youngbirds.

Widowhood section
|
The loft has two compartments and in each section there are 8 nestboxes.
I can play here the traditional widowhood or on the nest.
I wil try everything this year, because I have good expirience on both.

Youngbirds and/or widowhens
|
In this section I keep now the youngbirds together with the hens.
I must buy an aviary for the hens.
The must be seperate from the youngbirds and cocks.
I will make a section for the hens where they can eat, but where they also can sit and not pair with other hens.

The breedingloft
|
The breedingloft has 15 nestboxes, but I can use 24 if I want.
On this loft are the BEST strains for the long and extreme long distance.
