My name is Jan and I am located in JO22RM, Lelystad, the Netherlands. I have got my Novice licence in 1997 and up till now busy on 2mtr and 70cm bands. I make a lot of DX contacts across Europe on both bands with a lot of joy. I do not need my next licence for making noise on HF bands because it is to easy and it give me not the pleasure I have now on VHF and UHF bands. The only reason should be that I am able to do DX on the SHF bands also. Maybe when I have time I will study again to get the next licence in the future, you will never know.
