The feeding ritual from a wild snake does not differ that much from a captive specimen. But since capybara ( but to name one wild prey for an adult python, if you let her choose :-) ) isn't native here in Holland, my snakes have to feed on something else. On these pages I'll try to explain how a prey is noticed, captured strangled and eaten. Not for the faint hearted....
