The
ocean is not some big hole filled with water and some colourful fish.
Rather, it is a complex body with a huge effect on the whole planet, such
as the climate. The many currents, the changing of the tides, the water
diversity (cold, warm, much nutrients, etc), and the many sea creatures living in it, makes the ocean behaving
like a huge living body.
Knowing
the sea, and before any dive observing for some moments its conditions etc,
will make a dive more safer and enjoyable.
