So, Here it is: my first report ever.
I Hope it will be readable and I welcome suggestions how to make it better.
I start with moving the settler S and settle to found Paris:

I started on mining to get to masonry to get the stone connected and because it would open up bronze working. Paris has more than enough forests, so chopping some down can turn out to be really helpful. :-)
The warrior starts exploring the lands close to Paris, maybe he will discover something interesting.
Meanwhile Mining and Mysticism get discovered in Paris by our lone (misunderstood) druïd.
Respectively at 3760BC and 3520BC.
3480BC: Buddhism gets founded by a far away country. (Since I didn't care who got Buddhism, I wish that country lots of luck with it)

My warrior scout got lucky and popped animal husbandry from a hut in 3360BC. It never hurts to get a free technology. :-)
After I discovered masonry in 3240BC, I went on to Polytheïsm (2840BC), which made me covert to Hinduïsm (2800BC).
I went on to pursue Hunting (2640BC) and Archery (2400BC). So I could finally defend myself before the barbarians would come to make things more difficult. This is my situation in 1920BC, right after I discovered Bronze Working:

As you can see, I have to make a decision as to where to put my second city.
Do I go east to the gold and cows or is it wiser to go west for the horses, beavers and cows ?
After long thinking and getting confused, I finally decide to go for the horses instead of the gold and send my settler west.
Thus Orleans got founded in 1720BC. Paris immedeately started on a new settler to take the gold east also.
Luck would have it that there was a copper resource just outside Paris also. :-)

Meanwhile I went on to research writing and mathematics and my explorations of the map went on to the southeast.
After a while the first barbarians started to show up:

Directly followed by a few others:
They didn't cause any problems and were quickly dealt with. That was also the last I saw of the barbs.
In 625BC I was out to four cities and my economy wasn't in a real bad shape with science still at 100%.

As you can see Orleans has begun building the pyramids which got completed in 400BC.
I completely forgot to change civics to representation till 25AD when I remembered I actually could do that because of the pyramids. (sometimes I get so excited just building something, I forget why it was that I started to build it anyway, duh.)
Anyway 1AD Catherine drops by to say hi.
This is how my relations with those who I had met stood in 25AD:

I am still more busy with settling the lands than thinking about any war. (what was the goal of this adventure again? it will come to me in a moment.)
Ok, I'll admit it: I am a coward and not good in warmongering, but I'll get there, lol.
So I settled a few cities more, badly hurting my economy as you can see by the situation in 100AD.

I made a few trades to get some technologies I still lacked:

And I went quietly on minding my own business for a long while, picking up calendar from Cathy in a trade and researching currency and drama on my own. With my first Prophet I built the Kashi Vishwanath aka the Hindu Shrine, which is easier to write. (and pronounce for that matter)

Met hatty in 175AD.
After that I got monarchy, code of laws and metal casting and in 740AD the hanging gardens got completed.

As you can see I have absolutely no clue how to get through the tech tree and I just research as I go along. :-)
In 800AD I finally get to civil service and switch civics to bureaucracy.
Elizabeth decides to come to have a cup of tea with me in 760AD.
Herodotus wrote a great work about most powerful civilizations, showing my empire was...ehm....well, not that powerful.
That was about to change though as I finally decided to pay more attention to my military.

I met the last two remaining opponents in 860AD and 960AD.
Welcome to the party Cyrus and Otto.
So now that I have met everybody; what is my situation ?

Military ? What military ? And I have to win this adventure by conquest or domination ?
Well I better start building some soldiers then, I don't think 7 archers, 3 warriors and 1 catapult will get the job done.
My research efforts went on with feudalism(1020AD), education(1090AD), theology(1120AD), philosophy(1170AD), liberalism(1240AD) with which I picked up nationalism, compass(1300AD) and military tradition(1350AD).
In 1380 my situation looks like this:

In 1450AD I decide to start a golden age with 2 spare great persons.

Directly followed by another golden age because of the completion of the Taj Mahal in 1510AD.
The two golden ages lead to these demographics in 1560AD

Still no military to speak of. :-(
No to mention that the victory conditions for my glorious empire are still lightyears away.

And just for good measure my relations in 1560AD

In 1585AD I discover democracy and switch to emancipation (don't ask me why) and make some trades.
A few turns later (1615AD) Alex decides to declare war on Sal.
And it is about time I start some warmongering also if I want to have any chance of winning this adventure.
So let's see what happens on the next page.
