Although I’m over my head into work, I’ve found some time to create the first page in a series.

Guess what... I removed the picture placeholder on the left. Damaged Blog page! No permalink

Updates everywhere... Use shapes. Get beaten by bugs.

woensdag 31 mei 2006
Bugs fixed and bugs created. Not uncommon, although I personally don’t like the ones I found.

iWeb 1.1

It is released. It is running. I’ve updated the templates I use and changed the Templates Info.

Welcome to my revised site. Extreme Makeover-time has arrived.

This site is about iWeb. iWeb hacks that is. What you can do with it if you go through the pain of digging into the XML templates that style all the pages. It’s my sharing with you of what I encountered when I wanted iWeb to behave differently.

Does it provide the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything? Not really.... It didn’t add up to 42. What it does do? If you have a curious and investigating mind, you can get a head start here.

All pages are changed exept one: the NavBar. That one is still “old style” and based on the White.webtemplate. I’ll change it when I have some time to spare... and create one with the right pictures like the navigation-bar on this page.
Some of the things you can find and/or learn here are:
  1. modify XML code
  2. create your own template
  3. use iWeb for template-creation
  4. my share of frustration if things go FUBAR

Some time back, I’ve decided to summarise a number of things onto a number of pages, since some of the ugly ones were not usable anymore.
Now things are different again.

It is likely shapes on his page are hit by a bug in iWeb...

FUBAR: Fouled Up Beyond Any Recognition. Sometimes people tend to use the famous F-word in stead of “Fouled”.
