Tekstvak: AFX MAGNA SONIC CARS During the last two years of AURORA models has been introduced that were different to the ones pictured in the catalogue. Cars like the Saudi Williams and BMW TURBO in black are perfect examples. It happened before, in 1978 AURORA introduced MAGNA-SONIC. Cars with a sound box that makes them sound like the motor is running. The sound changes depending on the speed of the car. In stead of the gear clamp there is a sound box fixed to the chassis. In the 1978 International AURORA CATALOGUE and on the box top of the GX 2500 set the sonic cars are shown in color patterns that are also different to the cars introduced. What makes the page even more special is that on the 1062 Plymouth there is number 31 on top ,and 30 on the drivers side. The yellow brown Plymouth shown is in the European magna-sonic presentation box. The sound cars have not been very successful, retailers told us that parents considered the cars as too noisy.
