James Hunt and Mario Andretti with promoting the product line, but also as the sponsor for F-1 races in Europe, AURORA AFX BRITISH F-1 CHAMPIONSHIP, and in the Pacific, AURORA FORMULA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP. On the Aurora DVD you can watch exciting moments of both real racing and model racing, to get a better understanding why Aurora was called the closest thing to real racing, making Tyco a racing set for little boys! Six cars that participated in these championship races made it to the Aurora model car collection: Tekstvak: The 1835 is part of a range of cars decorated with Aurora AFX. From the 1835 there is also a version in yellow with number 2 an 4, only a very limited number of cars were made. Tekstvak: The 1835 Aurora Citizen exists in both a 4 and 6 wheel version.
