Tekstvak: FALL GUY

When AURORA decided to start with licensed product FALL GUY was the first film selected.
A big advantage of this selection was that we could use an existing mold. With a very limited investment the JEEP BLAZER could be reworked. Only a mold for the bar and the bumpers had to be made. A disadvantage of this cost saving exercise was next to a big inventory of BLAZER bodies the tight fit for the chassis. .

In 1977 AFX was purchased by the British toy company DUNBEE COMBEX MARX.For tax reasons it was decided to transfer all the international licensees to the
Holland office. This included the Mexican licensee LILY LEDDY. Therefore both with sets as with documentation a European flavor was created as Richard Wadsworth who handled all the overseas licensees tried to let all to cooperate as much as possible. For almost all of the non-European licensees there were sets of track moulds of the 9and 15 inch straight and 9 curve (2517,2542 and 2519), Mini or maxi ruskit hand controllers available to manufacture these locally.

However Lily Leddy had also problems importing cars from Singapore .
As the Mexican market was a very interesting market it was decided to make on a very limited basis also a couple of car body moulds available.

A german collector sent me a cd-rom with all the pictures of the cars LILY LEDDY produced.
To many to show, but I am sure you will enjoy this section
