From the moment he was born we knew Eijck was going to
stay with us. To us he is something special and not in last place because
his easy going and happy character.
Sadly he broke his right hind leg as a 12 weeks old
puppy, and due to this and him growing, the leg did not develope in the
right way. Due to this we decided not to show him. We know now we know he
can use his leg on the coursing track with no problems, so that's where his
future will be.
Eijck
gained his coursinglicence in 2005 en was entered in a few coursing events,
where he was placed in several finales. He
also has been to 2 shows, in
spite his bad leg, the first show he was Best Puppy and the second show he
won the res. CAC.
Eijck proved to be a very reliable
coursing dog. At the start of June 2006, Eijck won 2nd. place at the
National coursing in Leek! His sister Deejay (Delirious Echo of Dark
DeeJay) kept the family flag on flying by winning her Dutch Coursing
Champion title and becoming the FIRST International Coursing
Champion in the breed in the Netherlands!
