Stone Sour was formed back in 1992. They come from Des Moines. They played live shows all over the place to get some attention. When Corey Taylor was asked to join Slipknot, he left Stone Sour, same as guitar player James Root. Slipknot has become very famous. Though Corey had a good time in Slipknot, he never released his dream of Stone Sour. In the year 2000 Stone Sour came together again and they made some demos. This year they released their first CD. It allready sold over 150.000 copys and is selling about 15.000 a week!
