A sporting city
Eindhoven is a sportive city as well. First of all there is of course PSV, our famous soccer club. They have been champion of Holland several times. Last time in 2007. The stadium of PSV was one of the playing fields during the European Soccer Championship in june 2000.
Besides PSV lots of other clubs in every kind of sport hold their activities in Eindhoven. Lots of good accomodations are available. Every year the International Marathon of Eindhoven attracks thousands of visitors. (see pic)

Going out in Eindhoven
The Stratumseind is the main place to go out in Eindhoven. The street has lots of pubs and little restaurants. Also the Market in the centre is famous. Lots of pubs with terrasses and some nice restaurants as well. This place is also used for lots of big events in the center of the town.

Shopping
Eindhoven is also the center for shopping in the province of Noord Brabant. The center has all kinds of shops and some rather big malls. The main one is the Heuvelgallerie on the Marketplace.

The city of Eindhoven is surrounded by a pitoresk countysite. Not far from the cityborder you'll find the farms and a watermill in a green landscape. All together a great place to live and work.
