Kristien has also decided to leave Izegrim because she wants to spend more time pursuing ambitions in her professional career.
No shows will be cancelled, Marloes will be taking over the vocals.
Kristien's last appearance with Izegrim will be at Dokk'em Open Air.
Line-up change

Due to a loss of interest in metal and a subsequent lack of motivation, Joep van Leeuwen has decided to leave Izegrim.
He has been replaced by Ivo Maarhuis. Ivo will make his first appearance with Izegrim at Dokk'em Open Air.
Downloadable songs online
20 april 2008
For those who didn't already know: Izegrim has its own space on MySpace. We have made two re-recorded songs ("Fuck Your Glorious Nation" and "World Power (or Downfall)") and one yet unreleased song ("No Place Like Home") available for all to hear!
These songs were recorded along with "Tribute..." and were initially intended to appear on the new album, but didn't make it due to its length. The two re-recorded songs also appeared on our "New World Order"-EP.
Reviews
3 april 2008
Some reviews of "Tribute to Totalitarianism" have been put online and they can be found here.
Back from Europe
10 march 2008
We're back from our European tour with Flotsam & Jetsam and Non-Divine and words fail to describe how awesome it has been. The audience, the bands, everything worked very, very well. We'd like thank Bajvan Agency very much for the opportunity, the crew for their support and a huge sign appreciaton to two of the coolest bands around: The Mighty Flotz and our brothers of Non-Divine!
We also want to thank everyone who made these series of gigs one to remember for a long, long time. Particularly the people from Austria, Poland and Hungary. We recommend every metalthrashing band to check out these often forgotten places!

We are very pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Rusty Cage Records for the release of our upcoming album, and we are very confident this will be a fruitful alliance.
The release date for "Tribute to Totalitarianism" has been set for february 29th, just prior to the upcoming tour.
Video!
11 november 2007
In a mood of infinite boredom Jeroen made a 'videoclip' of the song "Deliverance" out of both old and new viideo-material. It's a really cool impression of 'Izegrim on the road', and you can watch it here:
All recordings ready!
8 november 2007
All recordings are finished and will be mixed and mastered in the next couple of weeks by Split Second Sound, who have worked for bands such as Textures, Autumn, The Lucifer Principle and many others.
Never break a good tradition...
31 october 2007
...So once again a couple of guest musicians have participated in the recordings. This time Edwin Woerdman, longtime friend and founding member of DISABUSE did a solo on "Hell on Earth". Carsten Altena, our former guitar-player, did one on "Deliverance". We think both did an outstanding job!
New songs uploaded
15 october 2007
We just uploaded some rough versions of 'Hell on Earth', 'Hail Victory', 'The Father, The Son & The Holy President' and. 'Deliverance' on MySpace.
It is just a lousy mix... just to give an impression of what kind of stuff we are currently working on. Enjoy!
Tribute to Totalitarianism
15 february 2007
Currently we are finishing the last two songs and making serious preparations for the recording of a new full-length album. The recordings for "Tribute to Totalitarianism" are finally set to start mid April.
Tracklist:
- Regime of Redemption
- For God & Country
- In the Name of Freedom
- Hell on Earth
- No Place Like Home
- The Better of Two Evils
- New World Order
- Fuck Your Glorious Nation
- The Father, The Son & The Holy President
- World Power (or Downfall)
- Hail Victory
- Sword of Damocles
- Deliverance
"Tribute to Totalitarianism" will be by far our most versatile release to date. We are also convinced it may well become our most controversial one.
Expect an Izegrim-style Thrash-/Deathmetal hybrid with quite a few Stoner-influences and faint Gothenburg-style melody, accompanied with some ferocious polemics that will not leave much to the imagination regarding the current state of world affairs.
New member
17 november 2006
More than a year after Carsten's departure we have finally added a suitable replacement. His name is Bart and he is also guitarplayer in Ede-based metalband Nepenthe. Now we can finally play again the multi-layered songs Izegrim is known for, some of which we haven't played live for a long, long time. Be assured Izegrim will sound heavier and more vicious than ever before!
Izegrim @ Internet
8 october 2006
Since the progess of technology cannot be stopped, we decided not to beat it but join it instead. Izegrim now has its own place at MySpace (International), where you can download several songs as well. We will use this medium for interaction purposes only. The bulk of information will remain on our homepage.

More reviews on Genocide
29 january 2003
In their february edition, Dutch major metal magazine Aardschok awarded ‘Guidelines...’ with 90 of 100 points. Lords of Metal (in Dutch) awarded ‘Guidelines...’ with 87 of 100 points. It appears that the infestation of Terror Thrash is taking effect!
Reviews on Genocide
28 december 2002
The first reviews on the new CD are pouring in, like those on Vampire Magazine (English), Quintessence (English) and Metalfan.NL (Dutch)... and more are still to come. Joep also agreed to be interviewed (in Dutch) for the latter.
Holy Inquisition 2002
9 december 2002
The tour with Pungent Stench and Disastrous Murmur went great. All gigs were very well attended, but the Saturday-gig at Staddijk Nijmegen turned out to be the best of them all!
New CD released!
3 december 2002
Our first full-length album has been unleashed upon this mediocre world on november 29th. Hrödger was responsible for the cover artwork, Wannes Gubbels (Pentacle) and former Izegrim-guitarplayer Arydon (Goddess of Desire) have also contributed to ‘Guidelines for Genocide’.

Old mailinglist out of order
22 april 2002
Our old mailinglist at Bravenet continues to fuck up and this time we are really fed up with their lousy services. We decided to maintain a mailinglist ourselves from now on. This means you will have to re-subscribe again if you subscribed before at Bravenet. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
