Articles about Jean-Paul Marat and Autonomous Clubs
Jean-Paul Marat, one of the motors of the French
Revolution, saw the danger that the old forces supported by new greedy,
power-hungry people should take the newly won power away from The People. To
prevent that he proposed the formation of Autonomous Clubs that
should only have members that did not belong to the leading classes (the 1%)
common citizens (the 99%). This idea did not penetrate into the minds of the leaders of
the people's uprisings who wanted only to change the system and denied that any
powerful group of people could use the new system for its own benefit.
All past revolutions have shown that The People did not know how to prevent that a new 1% came into being. In the Revolution The People should develop the means to block any new greedy group of leaders. Mass actions are one part of the Revolution, individual actions of small groups will build an autonomous power of the 99%.
Autonomous Clubs will be the Fourth People's Power next to the Elitist Trias Politica.
