The works of art of this video-art project are registered moments of a dialogue between
Lioba Steinkamp
and Robert-Jan Verhagen & Theun Karelse, Jennifer Tee, Mascha de Vries, Alberto de Michele & Guevara Solimen and Gijs Müller.

Would it be possible to quit your daily life for a while and live the life of a fictive person?

Lioba Steinkamp asked the participants to execute five alter-egos she created, circumscribed by five video-screenplays. The screenplays use key scenes from renowned movies that, in the process of mixing and re-editing, establish five new contexts: a description of the character and the implied atmosphere of the setting. The selected artists answer the question of the screenplay by means of a video work. The performances took place at locations in Brazil, Italy, The Netherlands, USA and Japan.

Robin Brouwer reflects the progress of this experiment by interviewing the participants before and after their journey.
