Joint Force Harrier
The JFH operates under the responsibility of the RAF No. 3 Group and brings together all operational and training Harrier units of the RAF and FAA. However between 2004-2006 both operational FAA Sea Harrier squadrons (No.800sq and No. 801sq) will be disbanded. In 2005 both conversion squadron (FAA No. 899sq and RAF No. 20(R)sq) will merge together to one unit at RAF Wittering. And finally all RAF Harrier GR7 aircraft will be upgraded to GR9 standard.
