
The RAF Air Cadets operate with two glider types. First there is the Viking TX1 (see above) and secondly there is the Vigilant T1. The main difference between these two is that the Viking does not have a propulsion method aboard where the Vigilant is a so called motor-glider with a small propeller engine in the nose.

| The 645VGS will leave Catterick during December 2002, and will move to Topcliffe, where it will start flying the Vigilante instead of the Viking during April or May 2003. |
