Advance! issue 161 has a story about an OT who was working on wiring a room
"in current Earth technology."  The OT felt that the wiring was wrong somehow,
and suddenly "I knew how it was supposed to be done.... I could actually
see it on the wall in place of the complicated wiring we were putting in.
 I went on to explain to them that it carried not just electricity but any
of the communication lines you needed in a house, and it took just an hour
to install.  Only problem is that it probably wont' be seen on this planet
for another hundred years!"  

Well... what good exactly did THAT do?  So you're OT, you can see into the
future, but you can't use that knowledge anyway?  I don't get it.
