Who am I?

My name is Paul Deen, I'm 28 years old and I live in Hilversum, Holland. I work as a .NET developer for Getronics PinkRoccade. In my free time, I like reading, listening to music, and check the internet for news in software and programming.

What's the goal of this webpage?

For years, I wanted to build a code library/knowledge base, and share it with the world. Also, I have created some tools that are very useful to me, and probably also to other developers around the world.

How was it built?

I wanted to make a website, without any code. This means it runs on any webserver, because it only consists of static HTML pages. The various dynamic pages (what's new, knowledge base, tools, and sitemap) are generated manually using a tool that I've built five years ago: MIAMI.

With this tool, I only need a simple webserver without PHP and ASP. The MIAMI program has been built in VB6 and can be downloaded for free here.

When I add new articles, I simply have to refresh these pages, and upload them to the ISP.
