YOU'RE THE FIRST, THE LAST MY EVERYTHING - GERMANY Philips 1974

According to a posting by Brad Wind on the www.songfacts.com Website, Barry White's friend Peter Radcliffe wrote a Country song originally called You're My First, You're My Last, My In-Between, but couldn't get it recorded for over twenty years. Barry rewrote the lyrics and arrangement, and with a slightly amended title, it promptly became an International smash and the standard we know and love today.

I BELONG TO YOU - GERMANY Philips 1974

This single is lead singer Glodean White's favourite Love Unlimited recording. The four note piano intro echoes that of the first Viola Wills A-side from 1966, Lost Without the Love of My Guy, an early composition of Barry White that Glodean loved even before she had met Barry in 1969. The single was an R. & B No. 1 in the USA .

PEOPLE OF TOMORROW ARE THE CHILDREN OF TODAY – GERMANY Philips 1974

SHARE A LITTLE LOVE IN YOUR HEART – GERMANY Philips 1975

The A-side is the single edit and both tracks are as issued in the USA . Both songs were taken from the ‘In Heat' album.

UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF LOVE – GERMANY Philips 1974

This great picture depicts the much-missed Love Unlimited in concert in 1974 on this definitive version of the 45 that was given a new lease of life when Kylie Minogue revived it on her 2000 comeback album, Light Years. Coupled with the US/UK A-side Oh Love, Well We Finally Made It; both songs came from the Platinum album ‘Under the Influence of …'

  LOVE'S THEME – GERMANY Philips 1974

The classic Instrumental did not credit the Love Unlimited Orchestra on the sleeve but does on the label. This 45 coupled The Maestro's anthem with the classic It May Be Winter Outside (But In My Heart It's Spring) that had also been a smash around the world. Both tracks taken from the LP ‘Under the Influence of…'

I FEEL LOVE COMING ON – GERMANY Philips 1974

The Felice Taylor-revived A-side, I Feel Love Coming On, was taken from the ‘Rhapsody In White' album, thus making its only appearance as a single. ‘Rhapsody In White' – usually a single elsewhere - appears on the B-side here.

SPANISH LEI – GERMANY Philips 1975

This superb 45, a short version of the ‘White Gold' album track, made its only appearance on single in Germany . A master-tape slip went uncorrected and is clearly audible on the finished record. Meanwhile, the flip, Baby Blues, was a US A-side and taken from the Orchestra's ‘Rhapsody In White' album.
