Barry White 45 Collectables

CHANGE - ITALY Unlimited Gold 1982

This great 45, arguably one of the most commercial singles during Barry's days on his own Unlimited Gold label, disappointingly never saw the light of day in the UK as a single.

DIDN'T WE MAKE IT HAPPEN, BABY – ITALY Unlimited Gold 1981

DON'T MAKE ME WAIT TOO LONG – ITALY 20th Century 1976

I'M QUALIFIED TO SATISFY YOU – ITALY 20th Century 1977

JUST THE WAY YOU ARE – ITALY 20th Century 1978

WHAT AM I GONNA DO WITH YOU – ITALY Philips 1975

YOU SEE THE TROUBLE WITH ME – ITALY 20th Century 1976

HIGH STEPPIN' HIP DRESSIN' FELLA – ITALY Unlimited Gold 1979

This late-period Love Unlimited 45 is a great half-steppin' foray onto the dancefloor, with Barry reuniting with long-standing songwriter Paul Politi. The flip, I'm So Glad That I'm A Woman, was a US A-side. Both songs appeared on the final Love Unlimited album, Love Is Back.

I DID IT FOR LOVE – ITALY 20 th Century 1976

Another great live shot from Love Unlimited accompanies this rare 45 from 1976, coupling the first two songs from the He's All I've Got album. The B-side is the same as that found in the UK , Never, Never Say Goodbye. The hard-to-find Instrumental version was the different flip in the US .

SATIN SOUL – ITALY Philips 1975

This great picture oddly depicts Love Unlimited in full vocal flow on the Orchestra's classic 45, even though they are not heard anywhere on either side of the completely instrumental single!

YOUNG AMERICA – ITALY Unlimited Gold 1980

This single, and its B-side, Freeway Flyer, was the first single from the Love Unlimited Orchestra album, Let ‘Em Dance, released in 1980. This was one of three US singles from the album, although none of these, including the album itself, gained a UK release.
