My rooms are only for guests that do not smoke (anymore). The price for both rooms for one person is 45 euro per night
and for two persons it is 55 euro per night. There is a communal bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.
Both rooms have a bed sized 1.40 x 2 meter, a computer with internet connection, a refrigerator and a water cooker.
You will find plates, cups, cutlery etc. and tea and coffee that you can make yourself.
You can do the shopping for your breakfast on the market (or in the supermarket) to prepare breakfast.
When you do not want to do that, there are very nice places in the neighbourhood where you can have breakfast.
When you come by train I will write you the directions in my email.
When you come by plane this is the best way to come to my apartment.
- Take the train from Schiphol in the direction Centraal Station to the next stop (Station Lelylaan).This will take 7 minutes.
You have to buy a separate ticket for the train, because trains are not public transport.
You can buy cheap tickets at Station Lelylaan or Central Station for all public transport in Amsterdam for 24, 48 etc. up to 168 hours.
- Take tram no. 17 in the direction of Centraal Station and get out at Ten Katestraat. This takes 11 minutes.
If you like you can ask the attendant to tell you where to get off the tram. - Do not cross the road (Kinkerstraat) but walk into Ten Katestraat.
- After three blocks of houses you will see the bridge for cyclists and pedestrians (see photograph).
The entrance to my flat is immediately to your right.
You may have noticed that if you do cross the Kinkerstraat there is a daily market (but not on Sundays).
