Well, Mazda did it again. It seems that no sooner than Evolution Orange (EO) is introduced, that it has been discontinued. Mazda has even gone as far as to discontinued the EO worldwide. With only 644 produced for the U.S. market. That makes the EO the shortest production run ever.

 

Up till now it’s unknown how many EO’s Mazda produced. This Evolution Orange mica metallic colour was only used and exclusive for the NB / Mk2 models.

 

This makes the MX-5 Miata NB / Mk2 Evolution Orange far rarer than any of the other Special, Limited or M-Editions that Mazda has produced.

The Evolution Orange is also known as Racing Bronze in U.K. and as Sambagold in Germany.
