EPS - Exhaust Power Supply



EPS in Hoogezand Holland (near Groningen) is a VERY good company that supplies exhaust for ANY car. Since I wanted a sport-exhaust for my BX Break and could not find any standard sport exhaust (those actually do not exist anymore...), I was sent to EPS to see what they could do. Well, anything is possible, if you want 2 sets of double rounded exhaust, they will put it under your car. Want to lose the KAT, they will put a straight pipe instead. I wanted 2 sets of double round exhaust pipes (2 on each side), but decided not to do it, since my spare wheel had to be removed (which I do not want to do) plus it was above my budget.
When you buy an exhaust, you can select your own sound, I fancied the low dark sound, but not very loud. They made it. I didn't want to hear the exhaust low noise when driving at high speed (130km/h and over) for a long time, they made it that way. Above 130km/h I do not hear any exhaust, except when pressing the accelerator to the floor, it will roar until I have a steady speed and the noise is gone.
All exhaust systems they supply are of stainless steel, which will last about 20 years (longer than the lifetime of most cars) and when SS gets warmer (hotter) it absorbes less noise, so the dark noise will increase. That's great when I drive for hours on the highway at high speeds and the exhaust is extremely hot, during the high speed I hear nothing, but when I leave the highway at an exit and end at a traffic light, the sound is GREAT.
They have exhaust systems for a Break from 350 Euro. If you want something good, that fits like a glove, contact them. (and no am I not on their payroll....).
