BRAINS AND COMPUTERS
Table 4

The influence of Artificial Intelligence on art has been considerable. And no wonder, because artificial intelligence, a science that began with the ambition of trying to understand intelligence, shares an essential fascination with art: the imitation of reality (with the secret desire to outdo it). But art and science rapidly "lose" themselves in the pleasure of the complexity of the reproduction of that reality. Computer formulas (devised as abstract descriptions of reality) have made pictorial animations and virtual worlds possible with new opportunities for the imagination.
