In his two-part documentary, Chris Dercon polemically argued that cinema is dead, but in a fragmented form, "art" has managed to save it. Aren't there much more exciting developments in the film world nowadays that far exceed filching isolated stills and fragments that fit into the limited and static visions of contemporary artists? Isn't erupting "Cinema" also discovering new options in "borrowing" new creative processes created in the virtual worlds of Sample Art?
