Apart from being a safe and comfortable way of transportation for business or pleasure, civil aviation is also a subject which has the interest of many people. There are several ways civil aviation can be a hobby. Spotting is the general phrase for viewing aircraft for fun, normally with some form of registration by making pictures of the aircraft or noting down their registration marks. Listening to radiocommunications can also add tremendous value to the hobby to get an idea of what is going on at the airports and in the airways. Some personal pictures will be placed here, and the links section will contain many references to all kinds of sites which might be of interest to the civil spotter or enthousiast in general. For more info about radiocommunications, visit the special page for that.
