Old stadium heyendaal
Nijmegen started playing icehockey back in 1968. They played rond-trip untill
Nijmegen decided to build their own rink. The rink was located in the bellefroistraat
and finally completed in early 1969. The stadium was called "Heyendaal" because of the neighbourhood it was located in.

Icehockey-club Nijmegen continued to
play in this area near the university for
dozens of years before relocating to a
facility more well equiped for modern times
on the edge of the city in an area
called Dukenburg.

New stadium Triavium
This new complex was finalized in
october of 1996 and became the new
home rink of dutch icehockey-team
Tigers from Nijmegen. The name Tigers
for the icehockey-club was adopted
2 years before relocating after the club
went bankrupt back in 1994 after there Flame-guards period.
