Logo |
The LEGO logo has been redesigned in 1999, its' letters are slightly rounder and larger than the previous logo introduced in 1973. Before 1973 the LEGO company has used 5 different logos. The first 'LEGO' logo was introduced in 1935, the 1940 logo added the words 'Billund - Denmark' and put 'LEGO' on a isometric perspective. In 1948 the 'Billund dissapeared from the logo and 'LEGO' was written in the round letters similar to the ones we know today. In 1954 the red background was introduced and in 1955 the word 'System' was added. In 1973 the yellow outline was added and the logo looks almost identical to the current logo. |
