Durango Xaroch Of Sunset.
A quick message from Durango Xaroch Of Sunset, one of the American sons of World and American, German Champion Xaroch Malou van de Lage Banken. He was breed by Ada van Rijswijk Breeder and owner of "Of Sunset" kennels. Durango's call name is "Ringo". On the age of 18 month he was already American and Canadian Champion, and as we can see on the picture below he is a very handsome boy with a beautiful character.

Durango is tested for his 5 health certificates. In all 5 the results where : Hips Good, Elbows Good, Thyrot Good, Eyes Good, Heart Good.

ON HER WAY TO THE TOP!!
20th July 2000 will be a day to remember for Cher Xavjénna van de Lage Banken and her owners On that day they took part in the "East of England Championship Show" held at Peterborough in England. In this show she won her first CC ( Challenge Certificate) for best bitch. Not only she won best bitch but reached for Best of Breed. She needs now two more Challenge Certificates to become UK Champion, something we think surely will happen in the near future.
We congratulate Cher and her owners with this great result and hope to get new great news from them in the near future!!!!!!!!!
CORRI (UKOBI) RULES CANADA !!!!!!!!!
The last time their are a lot of messages coming in from America which show that the great team, Gayle and Corri, are on track to become the new leading team on the shows in Canada. After been dumped by a judge beginning November, they took revenge on the weekend from 17 till 19 November. The did beat the top of the Canadian shows and took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite " ...........AND Best Puppy also. So Corri (Ukobi Enjoy v.d. Lage Banken) took three points!!!!!
We congratulate Corri and Mike and Gayle Wagner. with this great result and hope Corri will get the Canadian Championship soon!!!!!!!!!
SWEETIE ON HER WAY TO THE TOP
On the same show on 17 till 19 November in Canada Sweetie took Puppy bitch and looked according to Gayle; " goofy in the ring with Aunt Sonya". Valentijn Qucady v.d. Lage Banken ("Sweetie") now already is 8 month old and going to the top. On December 8 she won Best of Winners and took another 3 points so everybody be warned !!!!!!!!!! SWEETIE IS COMING !!!!!!!!!!!!!
On 25 and 26 November Harvey Enjoy van de Lage Banken, owned by the fam. Timmermans took first place in the open class on the dutch winner in Amsterdam. After a very exiting show Harvey could cry victory and took the first place in the male Open Class males and made a impresive step to reach for more on the coming show season !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TWO TIMES CHAMPION AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the weekend of 9 and 10 December Wilbert Reid could celebrated another big victory by winning with two Lage Banken dogs the title of American Champion. Both dogs, Gina Xaroch van de Lage Banken and Arliss Desta van de Lage Banken finished their championship in one show weekend. At the same time Deacon Brooklyn van de Lage Banken began his show carrier with a victory, he won 2 majors.
For Wilbert and the both Girls Good show!!!!!!!!!!! and congratulations from the Lage Banken and for Deacon,good job done and go get the points friend !!!!!!!!!!!!

HIT THE JACKPOT!!!
Yesterday (03-02-2001) Uvinju Enjoy v.d Lage Banken steps into his fathers footsteps en went for the victory in the young male class during the yearly international dogshow in Eindhoven. This first place in the young male class means the first victory for the son of Xar Xavjénna van de Lage Banken. He now also follows his sister Corri (Ukobi Enjoy v.d. Lage Banken) by taking the way to the top, Corri causes a furore in America. Just like Corri and his father, Xar Xavjénna van de Lage Banken, now also Uvinju pleases his owners, Leon en Marian Grúter Keijzers with good results. Father Xar himself many times reached for the top places on the international dogshows. Due to the good results of the litters from the combination Enjoy en Xar, the kennel has decided to try this combination again. So Xar will become father ones again in the next couple of weeks. We hope that the litters will be as beautiful as the first bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WIM IN WINNING MOOD TOWARDS CANADIAN CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
On the show of the District Kennel Club in Orangeville at 3 and 4 March 2001 Wim received again 2 points towards his Canadian Championship. At this show he took Best of winners two times, and made his owners very proud!!!!!!!!!!!

VAN DE LAGE BANKEN'S NEWEST ACQUISITION

Recently the kennel van de Lage Banken received his newest acquisition, Liam Roxette van Hogenbirk. On their way to more stability and quality inside the kennel, was it time to get some reinforcement. Cor en Jos are very happy with the arrival of their new crack Liam Roxette van Hogenbirk. Liam is holder of the following titles German Champion , German VDH Champion, German Club Champion and also Austrian Bundessieger. In total Liam received 15 times 1ste excellent and many times C.A.C. en B.O.B. on the international dogshows. Hips are qualified as HD TC and for his eye test he got the qualification: Free. Liam is a son of Dutch Champion Uran Angéle van de Lage Banken and Dutch Champion Roxette Leon van Hogenbirk.

Much sooner as we expected the news, of the spectacular show winner "CORRIE" UKOBY ENJOY VAN DE LAGE BANKEN, reached the kennel. The message received last Sunday the 11th June reads:

I am so happy and so is Mommy! Mommy was so happy she cried.
I went first in my class and also beating the other female on saturday. But I
also beat the other dogs by going Best of Winners. I took another point
sunday.
So grandma, I needed 10 points to finish and I finished with 14 points!

My dad went and bought me a new bed from Aunt Diane. He says it is my
throne. Cause now Im a queen around here. (I was a queen anyway) ha ha ha

Saturday July 7 at the Ontario Canada Bouvier Specialty Wim Brooklyn van de Lage Banken won his class 12-18 months and went on to beat all the male dogs. After this the next challenge was waiting, in the best of Breed ring. Judge Mildred Bryant awarded him with the title Best of Winners en Wim got 5 points to add to his total. Now he is 13 month old and already Canadian Champion. On Monday (Today July 9 Bruce and Diana took Wim to the USA for the first time, like a real winner he took his first Major and 3points for his American Championship. For real a big success and a perfect show weekend for Wim, Bruce and Diana. (by the way in the Specialty a other Bouvier of Diana named Tess took Best of Female)

NEWS FROM TABACCO AND THEMBI TIMBAVATI VAN DE LAGE BANKEN.
From South Africa reached us the message that Tabacco Timbavati van de Lage Banken is just 2 point of his first Championship. his sister Thembi Timbavati van de Lage banken needs another 3 point to take her place in the Champions Gallery. Tabacco won best of Breed and the reserve CAC at the Bouvier show. (For winner dog in the USA read CC (challenge certificate) in ZA. Tabacco's puppies are still beautiful and we see 4 of them at puppy training most weekends, so Neil and Joan Kriel said in the mail they send to kennel owner Cor an Jos Valentijn. They believe that they have some winners there and are watching them with great interest.
Another good news about Tabacco Timbavati van de Lage Banken is that his HD result came in: HD results 0:0 ( measure each hip individually from 0 the best or Negative to 5 Positive) Elbow results 0:0 (Measured 0 to 3 on the International scale). Nextchallenge will be the Apitude test in October and at the end of the yearhis CD (Companion Dog) test.
We hope to get some new pictures from both dogs so we can let you see how they devellop there in South Africa. We know now we have to make some place for them in the Champions Gallery very soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quintessa van de Lage banken named Tessa and owned by Tim and Louise Allen from Bouvier Kennel "Nakina Bouviers" has 3 majors, she won the open bitch class in Alaska 3 days in a row and also got Best of Opposite one day. She has 11 points now and needs 4 more points to have her American Championship.
Good show Tessa and congratulations also to Tim an Louise with the great results in Alaska, we can't wait to show the pictures on this site !!!!

"SWEETY" CANADIAN CHAMPION
News reached us late, but the we where trilled to hear Valentijn Qucady van de Lage Banken (Sweety) has got her Canadian Championship. She finished her Can Championship at the St.Catharines Kennel Club Dog Show on Aug 18th 2001. A great result for this beautiful girl and for sure Sonya Sparling and Marie Prior (Sweetie's biggest friends :))) will be very pleased with this Championship. We will make sure the picture of "Sweety" will be in the CHAMPIONS GALLERY. We hope that this will be the beginning of a bunch of Championships for Sweety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ROVER BROOKLYN VAN DE LAGE BANKEN STRIKES AT ROTTERDAM SHOW!!!
Two year old male Bouvier Rover Brooklyn van de Lage Banken entered the Rotterdam show with his handler/groomer Matt van Bezouw on August 26th and reached in the Male open class to the first place. After a exciting final he took Best Male and Best of Breed. So he is on his way to the Dutch Championship as well. His owner H. Eenkhoorn was trilled to see his beautiful Bouvier win one of the prestigious shows of the year in the Netherlands.

Last Saturday another name is added to the list of van de Lage Banken Champion bouviers. Tabaco Timbavati van de Lage Banken became the first de Lage Banken bouvier with the title South African Champion. Tabaco attended only 5 shows this year because he and his owners Neil and Joan Krielt were involved in field training. Tabaco has reached to the Champions Gallery and we are waiting for the pictures to place on this site!!!

ZYDECO - NEW STAR IS BORN ON THE AMERICAN SHOWS
Zydeco attended her first dog show on October 13 at the Longview-Kelso Kennel Club. She won Best Puppy in Breed, and First in Puppy Herding

WINNING SHOWS!!!!
On may 31 Zydeco-Alpine v.d. Lage Banken, owned by Susan Signor, again took the highest place in show when she won the Best in Sweepstakes award at the Cascade Bouvier des Flandres Club Specialty. Judge is Dr. Jacklyn E.Hungerland was more than pleased with this beautifull Bouvier des Flandres.
