British Airways Boeing 747-400
The Boeing 747 is the most used long range commercial airliner. It is used on the
pacific and Atlantic routes. The 400 is the newest version of this aircraft. In the
future, boeing wants to expand the capacity of this airliner to about 1000 passengers by
expanding the upper deck.
The capacity of the 747-400 is, in normal configuration, 421 passengers.
Again another tail scheme. They have many different ones and I can show you just a few,
because I have no more.
This picture is taken at London Heathrow Airport on a very sunny day. Heathrow is the home
of British Airways and you could see they haven't got only one Boeing 747, in fact, they
have more then 75 747s, in the 100, 200 and 400 versions. In total the have more than 150
aircraft, including the newest airliner, the Boeing 777 and the fastest airliner, the
Concorde.
