Music / Style Originally written for acoustic guitar. I started to work on this piece of music in the late eighties, using my hand crafted acoustic classical guitar, some sheets of music paper, several vague ideas and lots of inspiration. While working I had to transcribe it again because it was in the 'wrong' key: D minor suited better for acoustic guitar, using a dropped 6th string to D. On this page you'll hear an excerpt of the MIDI version for several instruments. The original guitar melody is played by brass instruments like muted trumpet. A catchy up-tempo trance-like bass line is followed by an up-tempo drums pattern. I have put some time in creating a 'human' drums pattern.  |
