About
This is an small excerpt of a straight forward piece of music written for Piano. At least one very fast finger is needed. Perhaps "Etude for Piano, Sequencer and Soundcard" would be a better title for this piece.

Notice that at measure four and eight ritardando (Tempo changes) have been applied to create extra musical tension and expressiveness.

This ritardando is repeated in the final measures where the piece reaches its melodic climax and dies out in a sustained discord and thus creating an incredible tension.
In basic the composition is build around repeating chords where the bass line and melody line play variations on a theme almost like in a Baroque fugue. Also short notes and chords are played almost staccato against sustained and arpeggio chords and notes which create the "rhythm", certainly not Baroque at all.
Originally the piece was written for Guitar (note the tremolo part in the middle measures). Playing this on piano requires one impossibly fast finger!
