Obviously here an analogy can be seen, where the attic stands for the creative brain and the rubbish are the loose single ideas in your head.
And cleaning, organizing and decorating stands for composing and arranging.
Like in this piece of music.
About Composing, Arranging and more.

 Sometimes (to my experience always) composing a piece of music is like clearing away (organizing) a messy attic or something similar.
All kinds of collected items like old books, furniture, carpets, paintings, photographs and other rubbish are stacked unorganized on top of each other.
It looks like a real mess. Just junk and rubbish.

Sounds of nature, short phrases of instrumental music, tweaked samples, effects and distorted sounds are combined in an order that makes sense somehow, that is; it sounds coherent. It creates an atmosphere that invites the listener  to be taken away on a sort of acoustical journey.

The midi file doesn't contain the tweaked samples, effects and distorted sounds but it will give you an idea of the final composition.

Addendum;
"Arranging is much like assembling an enormous  jigsaw puzzle ... there is more than one solution and too many pieces ..."

Until you start cleaning. You look at each item, value it and decide between throwing away or preserve it, clean it, polish when required and put it somewhere, organized, so that it adds life and comfort to the room, enhancing it's good points and disguising it's weaknesses.
Books sorted on category and alphabetical order, furniture in a comfortable position, carpets on the floor and photographs that bring up memories are framed. Everything finds it's place and suddenly the messy attic transforms into a comfortable and tasteful room where you can
luxuriate in a beautiful and stimulating  surrounding.
