The pedigrees on our homepage are in Dutch. Therefore underneath here are following the translations of some genealogical terms:

For many years we have been conducting genealogical research, visiting archives all over the country. From Groningen to Middelburg and from Hoorn to Den Bosch. We are also searching "the web" regulary to try and find missing data. We are members of several genealogical societies: the N.G.V.(the Dutch Genealogical Society), the Friends of the C.B.G. ( the Central Bureau for Genealogy), the H.C.C.-genealogical usersgroup, the Historical Society Weststellingwerf e.o., the Pro-Gen usersgroup, the Indian (Indonesian) Genealogical Society and the Foundation of  Westfrisian Family's.

We would like to thank everyone who has helped us in our search for our ancestors. A special thanks to Mr. Jan Jeronimus, who has contributed a lot of data for Betsy's research about the Jeronimus family and Mr. Jan Onneweer, who has provided Jos with data about the Onneweer family.
We also like to thank Jan Daamen from the Translation Service , who translated some parts of our website in english.

The results so far are shown at our website. All the names we have been researching can be found on the page "Our family" . There is also a page with "links" to other genealogical websites, which we visited regulary in our research. You can see some old familypictures in "Our  gallery" 

Furthermore we collect everything connected to our family: old photographs, "In Memoriam" cards, birth- and wedding announcements, newspaper articles, certificates, official documents, etc. If you have one or more of these items in your possesion, we would appreciate it if you could send us a copy. Any expenses will be compensated.
