My Origin

Yeah, yeah, yeah, pfff, I will have to be honest now, I have no genealogical tree.
So, okay it's out!. Because my owners think it's important, here's my story.

Both of my owners have experience with dogs. But before they got ME!, they decided to read a lot about rasing puppy's and about my breed. Once they were completely prepared they decided it was time to look around for a nest of puppy's.

My owners weren't all that busy with the internet at that time, so they looked in the newspaper now and then. There was the AD of my breeder. After a phonecall we found out he lived close by and had a nest of puppy's of 8 weeks old. All the reason to go and have a look !!

And there my owners went, together with my owners mother, who was also looking for a Labrador. Once we came to the breeder (a kind of farm) we found out that the puppy's were reasonable in price. According to him, because he didn't work with lineagepapers so he could sell the pups cheaper. Everything looked and sounded okay. After that my owners got to see us. We were in a kind of stables, a bunch of happy pups together. My mother wasn't there, and we were put in our new owners hands.

And what my new owners figured out later, it was an unreliable breeder. My owners would have rather had the time to look but when they saw me, it was love at first sight! of course. Everything looked well taken care off so my new owners had no reason for doubt.
Later my owners found out that other people who had a Lab from the same breeder had problems with there pups. Some were so sick that they didn't gain weight after they were bought (some even weight 2700 gramm).

I also got problems when I was six months old. I got L.P.C and had to be operated. Luckely the operation sucseeded. According to the vet I am a lovely Labrador and completely healthy.

My owners will warn everyone to pay attention when they are looking for and buying a pup. Get enough information because everyone loves pups. Internet can help you finding a reliable adress.

My owners would like to tell you that they love me a lot and would not have wanted any other. Even though I have no lineagepapers I am a labrador through and through.
