Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle… oh sorry. I’m completely in the mood! You see this is my first Christmas, and strange things are happening here.
A few days ago my owners put a tree in the living room and started to put all kinds of things in it. Do you still get it? When you think about it, when I try to bring in a branch everybody starts yelling at me.
At least everyone is in a good mood. Only I have to get used to the strange tree. Every evening my owner puts on the 170 lights and together with the children looks breathless to the tree. But I must admit it is very beautiful.
It’s very interesting to sniff the Christmas balls on the lower branches and that stuff on the lower branches is nice to chew on. It doesn’t taste like anything but I can’t stop myself, my owner doesn’t like me doing it. So I do it when see is not looking. Because it’s Christmas she specially put that stuff on again.
Today the whole family is together. The both grandma’s and grandpa’s are visiting and of course my dear sister Lana. That was fun of course. My owners were worried about my paw so I had to watch out. A few days ago I had forced my paw a bit, you see I met the neighbors dog. So the playing with Lana was not good for my recovery. And every now and then we had to go in the kennel. Only Lana didn’t like that. In the end we were together the hole time. Especially the running around the Christmas tree was fun. Only every time the top began to sway we got warned.
Under the tree lay presents, they had also thought of us. We both got two very nice bones. That kept us busy for a while. At the end of the evening we got the leftovers of the meal and slept together in the kennel. They have their strange habits, my owners, but they mean it well.
