Because this judge did judge our breed for the first time, we did only enter one dog, Vega

#  Dutch - Luxembourg - German Youth champion and Danish Champion Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won 2nd place in the championclass

and reserve best bitch............. 

Vega ended this year with finishing the Danish title as also the Dutch - Luxembourg and German Youth title.

She is also pointed in the Netherlands with 7 1/2 CAC's, in Germany with  7 CAC's and  one CAC in Belgium and Sweden.

Furthermore she won this year BOB at the World Speciality Sweden ( 171 entries), BOB at the Amsterdam Winner Show ( 72 entries) , BOS at the  Danish Speciality ( 90 entries) and reserve best female at the Dutch Speciality ( 113 entries).

Sunday December 7th : International Dog show judged by Mr. A. Korosz from Hungary, 35 entered amstaffs.

 

# Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me  won 1e place / CAC  in intermediarclass and  best male  / CACIB - BOS.

 

#  Carmichael's Chick on a Mission won 3e place  in the intermediarclass

 

#  Ch Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the championclass / CAC  and best female / CACIB - BOB.

 

Again excellent results of these young dogs !

Villain won from half October till begin December this year  4 CAC's in Germany, Vega won from end April till begin December  7 CAC's.

Both dogs are too young to finish the German title !!

Dutch National Speciality .

109 amstaffs entered under Judge Mrs. de Ridder-Onghena for the males and Mr. Doedijns for the females.

* Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me won the intermediar class.

* Ch. Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the champion class and reserve best female ( 2nd best female in breed).

Vega earned with this win another CAC to her Dutch title, she has now 5 1/4 CAC for this title, only need 4, but she must be 27 months to get this title.

*******************    Our  trip to the National Speciality USA   ****************

We did compete with 3 dogs at the  National Specialty USA and with great news to report:

We arrived on Sunday 19th October at the airport in St Louis, were in that week the Regional and National Speciality will be organised by the STCA at the Prina Farms.

On Monday we did pick up our new boy Presley ( Ch. Hartagold Devil in Disguise) from the airport, Tim Brashears ( Hartagold kennel) did ship him from Pittsburg to St Louis.  Thanks again Tim for the possibility to have Presley in our home.

Our dogs did very well at the Regional and Nationals. 

Villain - Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me  was  placed  3 out 4 shows, as the only uncropped dog in his class .  His placements were as following:

*  2nd Place - Regional Specialty - Bred by Exhebitor Class - Judge Mr. William Potter - USA.
*  3rd Place -  National Specialty Sweepstakes - 12-18 months Youth Class - Judge Mr. Rade Dakic Kica - Serbia.  

*  3rd Place - National Specialty - Bred by Exhebitor Class - Judge Mr. Ken McDermott - USA

Vega - Ch. Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond was placed  both times she was in the ring, as youngest  and  the only uncropped  bitch in this class, she did loose from the bitch what won Best of Winners at the Nationals.

* 3rd Place - Regional Speciality - Open Class -  Judge Mr. William Potter - USA.

* 2nd Place - National Speciality - Open Class -  Judge Mr. Ken McDermott - USA.

Presley - Ch.  Hartagold Devil in Disguise  won an Award of Merit at the Regional Speciality out 107 entered amstaffs  under judge Mr. William Potter.

The stud dog from our last litter Ch. Majestic N Klarr Jolly Roger won an award of Merit at the Nationals thNationals. I  was also asked by Dick Pascoe to handle Ch White Rock Mocha with a Cream  at the Nationals, unfortunately she didn't win anything this time.

AOM means :

In addtion to the awards of Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex, the club giving the show has the option to allow the judge to give Awards of Merit to those entries in the Best of Breed class which they feel show outstanding qualities of conformation and showmanship. The number of these Awards of Merit which may be awarded by the judge are determined by the number of dogs entered in the Best of Breed class at the show.

I was asked by Rene Thirup from Great Am-staff's kennel to handle Ch. Lobotown Fatboy in the champion class.

Capo and me won this class out 5 champion males, included the world winner 2008.

Later that day, Capo won best male and BOS

" Vega " - Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the intermediarclass, CAC and with this third CAC in Denmark, she finished her Danish Championship !!!   This with an age at 19 months, what's an new Danish record, as youngest Danish Champion in our breed !!!

Later that day she did compete against the winners of the champion male and champion female, as also to the the best veteran male and female.

Vega obtained Best of Breed,  so she finished the Danish title in style !!!

In the ring of honour, she was elected by the last 6 terriers, but unfortunately only 4 dogs got an placement.... 

We are extremely proud of this victory and also wish to congratulate the breeders and co-owners Rene & Anette Thirup.

On Saturday August 2nd, we did compete with Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me  at the International Dog show in Leuven - Belgium.

Villain won the youth class and went to best youth dog in breed.

In the ring of honour was he selected by the last 8 all breed youth dogs, but finally no placements.

On Sunday July 3rd, we did compete at the International Dog show in Cloppenburg- Germany.

Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me won the youth class males and went to best youth dog in breed, with this win, he finished the official title " VDH German Youth Champion ". 

Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the intermediary class bitches and best bitch / BOS, this is her third CAC in Germany at an age of 18 months.

We went to Denmark for the National Speciality, 90 amstaffs entered under judge Ulf Brathen from Denmark.

I was asked to handle Michl R California Redboy in open class, I got 2e place

We went to Sweden for the World Show event in Stockholm.

We did compete with Vega ( Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond ) at three shows in that week :

* On Wednesday 2nd July was the world terrier show, judged by Mrs Petik from Hungary.

Vega got 3e place out 17 youth bitches, she was the 1e uncropped bitch.

* On Thursday 3rd July was the World Amstaff Speciality Show, 171 amstaffs ( 41 champions) entered under Mrs. Cindy Vogels from USA and Mr. Mannucci Massimilian from Italy.

Vega won the youth class out 27 bitches, later that day she won the CAC, after that she did compete to the winner of the champion class bitches, she beat also the champion bitch.   Last but not least, she won Best of Breed !!!!!

* On Saturday 5th July was the World Winner Show, the bitches were judged by H. Kliebenstein.

34 youthbitches were entered in  the youth class 9-18 months, Vega was selected by the last 6 bitches in her class as the only uncropped bitch, but she didn't get an  placement.

On Monday June 23rd,  4 Males and 4 Females are born.

The males are brindle, blue brindle and blue fawn.

The females are black brindle, brindle and blue brindle.

#  Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me won the youth class ( 9-18 months) out 12 youth males, later that day he got appointed  as " favourite youthdog of the day ".

Very nice results for this beautiful young boy, an BISS at this young age is not very common !!!

Just an day after winning BOS and best youth dog in Saarbrucken, we did compete at the International show in Arnhem - Netherlands.

Later that day she obtained reserve CAC - CACIB, after an Dutch Champion bitch, what gives her an full point for the Dutch title, she is on her way now  with 2 and a  quarter point, needs 4 for the Dutch title  !!!

" Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond " aka Vega  got placed 1st in the youth class  and a bit later she got appointed  as best youth dog, by obtaining this, she obtained the title " Saarland Jugendsieger title "

By obtaining this J-CAC, Vega is now German - VDH youth champion, as she was already  Dutch and Luxembourg youth champion.

" Ch Dk Staff's Go Rio Go got placed 1st in champion class and later that day she got appointed as Best bitch in breed, by obtaining the CAC - CACIB, she obtained the   title " Saarland Sieger ".

Rio won  her 5th CAC in Germany, what makes her unofficial German - VDH Champion,  there must be one year between the first and last CAC, to get this title, Rio won these 5 CAC's in just 5 months !!!

At the international terrier show Luxembourg, we did compete with our 2 youngsters in youth class ( 9 - 18 months)

54 amstaffs entered out 7 different countries as Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany and Luxembourg, judged by Mr. Patrick Parson from France.

 * Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me won 4th place out 6 youth males.

 * Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won 1st place  and J-CAC out 6 youth females, with this win she finished her Luxembourg Youth title.

" Vega " is now Dutch and Luxembourg Youth champion !!!

We are very proud of this wonderful bitch and we feel very fortunate to have her and we wish to congratulate Rene & Anette Thirup with this great result as well.

We did compete with 3 dogs at the International dog show Lingen - Germany.

There was an entry of 24 amstaffs,  judged by Mrs. E. Feuz from Switzerland.

 

* Dk Staff's Go Rio Go won 2nd place in champion class.

 

* Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond  won  1st place and CAC from the  intermediary class ( 15-24 months) at an age of just 15 months.

She earned also Reserve CACIB.

 

* Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me won 1st place and J-CAC  from the youth class ( 9-18 months )

Finally he won  Best Youth dog and last but not least Best of Breed over 5 champions, this all just  at an age of 11 months  !!!!

 

Later that day he was selected by the last 10 best youth dogs in show, but there were only 3  dogs placed.

88 amstaffs entered under respected judge Mr. M. v/d Weijer - the Netherlands.

 

* Carmichaels Shut Up and Kiss Me got placed 2e excellent out 8 youth males  ( 9-18 months) at an age of 10 months.

 

* Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond got placed 1e excellent out 16 youth bitches ( 9-18 months) at an age of 13 months.

Vega won her class again, its her 10th win out 12 shows !!!

* March 20th

We did compete at one of the biggest dog shows from Europe on 20th march in Luxembourg.

There was an entry of 158 amstaffs out 10 different countries, there were amstaffs entered from USA, Russia, Hungary, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Poland and Luxembourg.

The males was judged by Mr. Piet Roosenboom - Belgium, the females  was judged by Mr. Nagy from Hungary.

On 24th march we booked excellent results at the International dog show Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, under honourable judge Mrs Puumala from Finland..

 

* Great Am-staff's Good as Diamond got placed 1st  youth class, this was her 9th win out 11 shows in youth class !! 

 

 

* Dk Staff's Go Rio Go got placed 1st in champion class, best female and Best of Breed !!!

  Later that day  Dk Staff's Go Rio Go got placed 7th in group III ( Terriers)  under honourable judge Mrs Petik from Hungary.

On Sunday 23rd march, we did compete with " Rio " and " Junior " at the Temperament test ( MAG - test) from the Dutch kennel club.

Both dogs did pass the temperament test successful.

" Rio " will be bred at the end of this year.

At the international dog show La Louviere - Belgium,  22nd march we booked an nice results under honourable  judge Mr. G. van den Bosch ( B ).

" Junior "  Wht Rck Hartagold Black Label got placed 1st in champion class, best male and BOS.

With this win, he obtained the Belgium title.

He starts his show career at almost 6 years of age in Europe, and with limited shows, he finished the Belgium and Luxembourg title  !!

On 16th march we did compete at the  International dog show Leiden - the Netherlands,  judged by Mr. Theo v/d Horst  from the Netherlands.

 * Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me got an 4th place in youth class 12-18 months out 8 youth males.

 * Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond got 1st place in youth class 12-18 months out 10 youth bitches.

Vega is now 10 times shown by me in youth class 12-18 months, after I got her from breeder and co-owner Rene Thirup - Great Am-Staff's kennel Denmark.

She won 8 times  !!! 

 I did also handle " Dunia Madju " for owner Vincent Noya at this show, " Madju " won 1st place in champion class males ( 2 ) and Best male, with this CAC / CACIB  he finished the Dutch and International title !!!

On 1 st march we did compete at the International dog show Groningen - the Netherlands, with 3 dogs, judged by Mr. Miklos Levente from Hungary.

* Carmichaels Shut Up and Kiss me was presented the first time in youth class and got an 3e place with an excellent out 6 youth males.

* Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the youth class out 6 youth itches and won her 3e youth CAC and finished her Dutch youth title !!!

* March 3rd

At the national dog show in Rheinberg - Germany, 16 February we did compete with our 2 Danish ladies and we didn't do bad !!!

Judged by Mr. Korosz from Hungary.

* Ch Dk Staff's Go Rio Go won the champion class bitches and won so her 2e German CAC.

* Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond won the youth class bitches and won her 2e German youth CAC, she won from the best youth male and was chosen as the favourite youth dog and won the Rheinland Jugendsieger title.

Last but not least she won Best of Breed over 3 champion dogs, this all at an age of 13 months !!!!

We did start this year very good in the show ring !!!

We did compete with Vega and Villain at the open all breed show from K.V. Waalwijk, this is the biggest open show from Holland, 932  all breed dogs were entered.

35 amstaffs were entered under Mr. Jakkel from Hungary and our breed was the second highest entry from all breeds.

* Carmichael's Shut Up and Kiss Me aka " Villain " won best puppy in breed and later that day in the main puppy ring, he won Best puppy in Show !! Afther two times 2e best pup in show, now he got the highest scaffold !

The main puppy ring was also judged by Mr. Jakkel.

* Great Am-Staff's Good as Diamond  won the youth class, best bitch and Best of Breed, this at an age of 12  months !!!
